I don't think Amazon is all that accurate, so I wouldn't put too much stock in that price. I for one hope that the Amazon price is the correct one though.

I hope this isn't true but I recently talked to the manager of very large and well known gaming store and he has been hearing from distributors that 4E will be priced in the $50/book range. Ouch! If that's the case, I'm not sure I'll be buying. :]

I've alway like boxed sets. Generally you get maps and other goodies you can fit easily in a books, plus you have a little extra room for some of your own stuff.

hmmmmm........... As far as I knew Palladium Fantasy was considered to be one of the best fantasy setting by many people. There are plenty of people who don't like the system, but it's certainly playable.
