D&D 5E (2014) What should an official Indian subcontinent inspired setting have?

Pointed, satirical, and a thoroughly justified question.

    D&D 5E (2014) Toward a new D&D aesthetics

Back in the '80s, I seem to recall an Alice in Wonderland-like adventure having been published. I'll see if I can find a reference. Found a link with info: From that discussion:

D&D 5E (2014) Call of the Netherdeep Previews

Sometimes, I wonder if I'll die laughing, so I see your point.

D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Comte de Saint Germain

Obviously, the Comte de Saint Germain is an exception to the rule. <chuckling>

D&D 5E (2014) Mythological Figures: Comte de Saint Germain

Comte de Saint Germain came to me by way of the novels of Chelsea Quinn Yarbro. She used his legend to create the character of a vampire who's been around since his mortal days in the ancient Egyptian priesthood. Her tales were not written in historical order, but each book is set in a time of...

    Homebrew Alchemy Crafting?

I went in on a KS from Nord Games LLC awhile back for a comprehensive 5E book on alchemy, "The Ultimate Guide to Alchemy, Crafting, & Enchanting." It was published in 2020. The book runs to 242 pages. To give you an idea of what it covers, here are the chapter headings: Chapter 1: The...

D&D 5E (2014) Why Are Rangers Arcane Spellcasters?

Thanks for the ear-worm - now I've got that song from the musical "Fiddler on the Roof" stuck in my head. LOL

D&D 5E (2014) Why wimpy SLING damage and range?

I detect a note of satire - well played! Also provide a feat: "Goliath Effect", which expands the critical hit range to 18-to-20.

D&D General How old were you when you started playing D&D?

My respects for your valiant halfling; that first one's never easy.

D&D General How old were you when you started playing D&D?

Sorry to hear about your fighter. That first one's always a little rough.

D&D General How old were you when you started playing D&D?

I was 29 in January 1984, so almost exactly 37 years ago. If math still works the same way now, that makes me 66. Only 600 years to go, and I'll have you all worried! That day sticks out in my head, as in the morning my family held the funeral for my paternal grandmother, who made it to age 97...

Disney Plus could be rebooting Firefly

The film ended certain story lines and relationships, and events in the real world ended others. Rest in Peace, Ron Glass. From "Barney Miller" to "Serenity" and everything between and after those, you always raised my appreciation for the entertainment you contributed to. As with old...

    D&D 5E (2014) WotC's Nathan Stewart Teases New D&D Setting Book in 2019

You seem to miss the popularity of The Handmaid's Tale.

    D&D 5E (2014) WotC's Nathan Stewart Teases New D&D Setting Book in 2019

The spelling on the last one is Al Qadim, and I was going to put in my 2-cents in the hope that it might be on WotC's "soon-to-be" worklist. But it probably won't - lol.

It's that time of year again! Nominate Your Most Anticipated Games of 2019

Put me in for Fria Ligan's Things From The Flood. Oddly, that's the only RPG I'm looking forward to in 2019, at least at this time. The one thing that's got me dang-near salivating is the board game for Hellboy, but that, of course, doesn't qualify for this survey.

EonTrinity, you had me going there with the WOIN: Babylon 5 - so, who needs reality when you have an imagination like that?
