Davis, holler at me if you want to get in on our fresh game of WFRP beginning in two weeks. If you dont have time, then we will have fun without you ;)
True, but I would be more likely to port in the TRUE20 skill method if I were inclined to go the standard skill direction. Its a lot easier to keep up with, and no fussy skill point allocation and bookkeeping to keep up with.
How about from Great Britain then (You're in Ireland ATM, right?)?

Will I desert D&D on 4e? Probably, but it remains to be seen. Now that my favorite Fantasy RPG of all time is back and being supported (Warhammer) I dont have a compelling reason at the moment to sink my money into more WOTC stuff, unless they release more Star Wars D20 material. My Modern...
Very cool little promo. I dont do much D&D these days or I would be all over this! I will state that I don't go to Gencon because I dont want to go by myself and most of my pals go to Quakecon in Dallas (which is the weekend before Gencon) so their wives wont let em go to Gencon too!
Spycraft 2.0 *does* rocksauce, but if you are looking for simpler, then look elsewhere. If you are looking for more customizable, then give it a look, it's teh fire.
I would agree with Akrasia in that it Rocks and probably falls into a rules-medium category. I knuckled under earlier today and ordered Sigmar's Heirs. Damn you, Green Ronin. Damn you and your addictive, high-quality game.
I dont have any personal issues with WOTC, I simply haven't been keen on most of their newest releases. Eberron is not my cup o' tea, and these seem to be the higher quality books that WOTC is releasing lately. I will buy if something comes out that grabs me, but will probably be concentrating...
I agree with the idea that a Fantasy version of Spycraft would be a nice idea (if properly handled). I hope that someone does this even if Phil doesnt!
For Wuxia, I would be tempted to go with Spycraft 2.0 with the Wire Fu, Fast Feats, Historical, Common Spectacle and Fast Attributes campaign qualities. I might have to try that sometime, in fact.
Considering the sheer volume of RPG books I have, I use about 11-20 percent. I try to take snippets from much more, but its hard to get around to it all with little spare time and over 200 books.
Agreed. This, to me anyhow, has brought us glimpses of the next generation of OGL/D20 gaming. There is so much new and cool stuff here, I'll be glad when the weekend is upon me so that I can spend more time checking it all out. I can tell you this much: I picked D20 modern over the original...
