Crazy! I bought this book less than 3 months ago from my LGS for 30 percent off retail because the owner of the store was tired of it just sitting there. Now Im glad I did. It gets used in my game and I would not want to spend that kind of scrip on it.

Agreed. This seems a bit more like going to work than to a game. If the players are down with it and having fun, however, then more power to em.

Once every couple of weeks or so. My players are pretty laid back about when they receive XP.

I started with the red basic D&D box in the early 80's. I went from there to 1e then continued to upgrade through the revisions. I still occasionally break out the old Rules Cyclopedia for some old school gaming goodness.

I bought a copy of AE off of Overstock for about 33 bucks and have really enjoyed reading it. Solid rules, beautiful book, nice setting. I need to convince my players to give it a shot as well, but might be a hard sell; as these fewlz love teh forgottan relms!
