I hope the Sharn get a stat block or two in Netheril's Fall, but given my track record for guessing what'll be in what book (I was sure there'd be saurials in the FR books, for example), I wouldn't hold my breath. It would make sense for the phaerimm to have the beings that imprisoned them...

Do I want to see more monsters, especially more phaerimm and vampires? Yes. Do I wish these were in physical books? Also yes.

A few things I've noticed: In the 2024 Monster Manual, the Death Knight stat blocks can cast Phantom Steed instead of Find Steed as before. I figured that was to minimize the amount of summoning other monsters, but that design philosophy must have changed, as the Drow Mage of Lolth can cast...

At least that makes the casting choices easier if they ever make an Icewind Dale movie! 🤣

I wonder if that rat king concept art they showed last year will be for a monster in Astarion's Book of Hungers, or if they just scrapped it? I can kinda see a rat monster fitting in Baldur's Gate, but it doesn't seem very vampiric.
