I choose from all the powers on offer, but I've noticed that other players (and by that I mean those of us that don't obsessively read forums) tend to choose powers with class benefits.

I just watched this show now, it didn't seem to have much D&D in it. Was any of your footage used afterwards? As an aside, did anyone notice that the caption for Dungeons and Dragons said it was a Games Workshop game? That gave me a chuckle, they must have been using old footage from the 1980s...

This is an interesting idea. When listing WOW things it would be nice if people could explain to us non WOWers what they actually are. I have no idea what "aggro" is for example.

I have some advice, make sure their characters have good stats. Letting noobs choose their own stats is a recipe for disaster. They can choose pretty much any powers and feats and their characters will still be great, but bad stats can ruin the whole experience for them. One of 4e's few...

I was introduced to this fine hobby around the age of nine when the Fighting Fantasy books that I adored at the time released an adventure book that was a full RPG for multiple players. Ran it and had a blast.
