Out of interest buddhafrog, how did you come to teach English through D&D? Did you start up your own D&D based business or some such or is it just a part of what you do?

It wont be Str/Con, they get to add to their con mod to their healing surge value so it would be far overpowered. Perhaps Str + Dex to make them capable slayers.

I'm guessing those feats and weapons will be in the 2nd Essentials player book, they gotta save something for that one. So, no multiclass feats in this one I take it then?

Once again Primal I don't think you really understand what Essentials is in relation to the earlier material. I don't think the purpose of this thread is to explain to you what Essentials is and I suspect that people here would appreciate if you asked your questions in one of the many threads...

Well remember to put points into your attack stat and choose a race with an appropriate stat bonus if you're concerned about accuracy. If want truly high accuracy choose a dex 20 dagger wielding rogue, that's about as accurate as you can get.

Well I guess that verifies it then - unless there's been some sort of bizarre miscommunication from Wizards - the Rogue/Thief in the red box is not the one from the later Essentials books. Looking at other threads there seem to be a multitude of other mistakes and inconsistencies in the 1st...

Thanks for posting here Peter. Ravenloft has a pretty low price point for what you get, are the mini's made of the same plastic as the regular DDMs?
