There’s a process that will work eventually given a large enough player pool and enough time, but achieving it quickly is mostly just luck. Most people just luck into a good enough group.

Fundamental question here. Who did create that novel? Unless AI is sentient, with intention and will then surely the creation must ultimately be attributable to a person or at least multiple people? That sounds very similar to letting the AI know what you want and developing the necessary...

Sounds reasonable enough. I agree here but ai images arent just the ai pulling out an existing image from a repository of already existing images. This seems to be the fundamental difference in positions. AI’s do create new images even though they require a bunch of existing images to train...

Right. I never was creative in the artistic sense when following the lego blueprints, though i may have been creative in my use of techniques to enable myself to more quickly follow those blueprints. I was very artistically creative when freestyling and making something lego from scratch...

I think I’ve got my level 1 Sea Druid ironed out. I’m picturing roleplaying him as more of a Viking Seer that’s very blunt and direct. Orc - for the darkvision and bonus action dash (darkvision is big in this campaign). Also fits thematically with the larger body. Sage background for magic...

That’s my reading as well, but IMO if that’s what the designers actually intended they were idiots. If one can do the gestures for spells with material components while holding a focus there’s no freaking logical reason one cannot do gestures for spells without material components while holding...

You seem to have taken offense when I didn’t intend any. I generally support the idea of a 5e funnel as long players are also really bought into the idea. But I think there’s some extra details that need ironed out going in rather than saying we can just ‘adult it’ in the future.

Right. We are just trying to say that if implementing a funnel one needs to consider character replacement, whether that’s retirement or death and how that’s handled in a 5e funnel style game.

CO doesn't have to be all that at lower levels. At those levels (just with innate sorcery advantage) it's chunking off enough hp even on a single target with no bounces to be valuable. Greatsword = 2d6+3 no advantae = 10 @ 60% accuracy = 6 DPR. Chromatic Orb = 13.5 @ 84% accuracy = 11.34 DPR...

Command isn't quite the same since no repeated save. Twin with it is nice though. Kind of thinking the better early option with early draconic sorc is to focus on chromatic orb at least while running innate sorcery. Later on once you get some good concentration spells, then low level commands...
