Well, he was on the artwork shown, so we knew he would be present. In fact I think he is on the back cover of the book, too. Definitely hoping he has a miniature in the set.

If they were, they would have a stat block here - since it seems they included stat blocks of the Abishai and Sorrowsworn who are also in that book.

It's annoying that many of the "new" monsters are just reprinted from Ravenloft, Spelljammer, Eberron or MToF. I wish WotC would just put these older releases up in the main Monster Manual and make them accessible to all, so they can save on reprinting. Nice to see the Spyder-Fiends back, and...

Feels rather insulting to call this column "NotDnD". You can dislike WotC all you want, their and TSR's contributions to RPGs cannot be understated. Also with this logic you might as well have named this "NotWarhammer" or "NotPathfinder", those are about as prolific as D&D as well.

I read it, but it would be more accurate to call it "interesting demiplanes for adventures" - most of the locales it lists are not big and could be inserted into any adventure easily, even without the need for them to be extraplanar. This new Planescape book seems to embrace the alignment system...
