[5e DnD] Runeseeker Class (arcane half-caster)

Well that's up to your DM according to the magic item crafting variant in the Dungeon Master's Guide. You have to find recipes with which you can craft magic items spending a lot of money and a lot of time. I think that variant works really well with the runeseeker. I should actually add this...

[5e DnD] Runeseeker Class (arcane half-caster)

That is actually a good idea considering that it's an artisan archetype. The main problem is that for the armor to get power ups I would need to either create an entire list of enchanting runes just for an archetype, or I would need to make the armor enchanting very bland, giving just a +1 to AC...

[5e DnD] Runeseeker Class (arcane half-caster)

Soul Secrets are actually a little bit too strong at the moment because their level 15 feature is overpowered and needs a little nerf, but I didn't have time to change it. Applying extra runes means being able to get to a legendary weapon faster and to break the bounded accuracy that is so...

    [5e] Arcane Warrior

The magic circle background affects readability badly, possibly scrap it. In some cases the phb has decoration images similar to that one at the top or bottom of the page with no text on it, if you move it and set "top and bottom" or "in line with text" you should get pretty much that result...

[5e DnD] Runeseeker Class (arcane half-caster)

Volley at level 11 hits a 10 foot radius, whirlwind attack is pretty weak instead. Ultimate Affinity is similar, but it comes at level 15 with a larger radius and lets you do it twice per turn (the way to roll doesn't really change anything math-wise on the damage-per-round output). Both...

[5e DnD] Runeseeker Class (arcane half-caster)

Hi there! Thanks, I'm really happy you are interested in the class! Elemental burst is a feature that will be used pretty often, you see, it already requires you to hit the creature and I don't want to have too many rolls in one single attack action, it slows down the game. Also, since the...

D&D 5E (2014) 5e Inventory Tracking Sheet (with Simplified Encumbrance)

I think adding to the archive also a "light" version with the armor points set to around half of the current required slots would be for the best. Something like: Padded/Leather (1), Studded/Hide (2), Chain Shirt / Breastplate (3), Half Plate / Ring Mail (4), Scale Mail (5), Chain Mail (6)...

D&D 5E (2014) 5e Inventory Tracking Sheet (with Simplified Encumbrance)

This is brilliant. Definitely going to use it at my table. It's so elegant, it doesn't get too finnicky in counting weird details of the shape of bags or the exact weight of things, while it still makes it harder for players to just stack up infinite pounds of stuff like it's nothing.

    Arcane Warrior (Class)

It's easier than it seems. Put things in microsot word (or similar), use capitalised BertholdBaskerville for titles (with a shade of brown that is red108, green58, blue54), Bookman Hd BT for the rest, put text in two columns. Look at the Player's HandBook for reference to the correct font sizes...

    New Concentration Rule

I think it still needs the joined concentration check and to stop at any time when the other spell stops. Plus a symmetric buff on the martials (of any kind) would be preferable. Let us know how it goes anyway.

    Cavalier Fighter Martial Archetype (PEACH)

Sounds pretty cool, straightforward, good but not too powerful, decently fast to read and understandable. I'm still unsure about the whole magical/spiritual "summon steed" concept, even though it is the most usable mechanic. I would allow it if a player asked me to for their character.

    Cavalier Fighter Martial Archetype (PEACH)

I noticed just now that one of the features is level 12. That is a plain mistake, you'll have to scrap a feature out or have two features at level 10 or 15. Fighter archetypes are supposed to get features at levels: 3, 7, 10, 15, 18. No more, no less. Any archetype can get usually from one to...

    Arcane Warrior (Class)

You didn't specify in the rules that a glyph works as an arcane focus, you just kind of implied it. The idea is really good! I really like how this turned out, I wouldn't use it personally though, since I already have the Runeseeker to cover that class niche. Now there's just to hope someone is...

    Arcane Warrior (Class)

I would really avoid physical ability spellcasting, it's really not well received within the community and also brings your character to be half spellcaster and avoid MAD without any annoyance. I think Int would explain the memorisation and the fact that it is a refined technique that requires...

    Arcane Warrior (Class)

Nice! I like it, good execution as well, simple and it has that feel of "EK but more balanced between magic and fighting". The only thing the class might need at this point is the flavor, which might inspire some more ribbon features (it's a little lacking in that department, every feature is...

    Ranger sub class- Tactician scout

Nice, I like secret language, it sounds like a really fun ribbon feature. Plus it makes sense for the rogue to be using more hit and run tactics, also some players might be interested in a rogue that uses an equivalent of maneuvers. It sounds familiar, simple, fun and different from other things...

    Cavalier Fighter Martial Archetype (PEACH)

"specific weapon only" restrictions are pretty much like no restrictions at all in 5e, since PCs will end up using their optimal weapon at all times, minus some rare exceptions. "When mounted" sounds more restrictive, but still I would make it 19-20. I know what you mean with the fact that the...

    Arcane Archer (Class)

It seems like you could make a half-caser arcane class that gives more importance to the fighting style they choose, making them into whole archetypes as opposed to the usual situation where fighting styles are secondary little features. You could have a half-caster divided in: swordmage...

    Ranger sub class- Tactician scout

It's a good class frame if you make the scout into a "non spell-casting variant" for the ranger with int features, that can still choose between hunter and beastmaster. You replace spells with tricks, swap some main class features or change how they work and leave the archetypes alone. Otherwise...

    Cavalier Fighter Martial Archetype (PEACH)

I think it's a bit strange for a completely martial class to have a "summoning" feature. Why not make it more in a style similar to the beastmaster? Maybe with a nearly-supernatural power to "call" the steed towards you even if it is miles away. Still less magicky than teleporting to you a...
