What's out there for d20 Future?

I honestly have no idea. It hasn't been officially announced, but they let slip that it was coming at one of their recent chats. Just keep checking the Mechanics' website.

What's out there for d20 Future?

Though it doesn't help you out now, The Game Mechanics are releasing a Future Player's Companion written by, well, me.

Where is a good diety source for 3.0 or 3.5?

You absolutely cannot go wrong with Book of the Righteous. I've substituted its pantheon for the Core D&D pantheon in my current campaign, and shucks howdy do my players love it.

AEG specifically not talkin' 'bout SG1 for now...

Keeping in mind that I am but a simple unfrozen caveman freelancer and not privy to the inner workings of the AEG business deal, I believe that when Sony began negotiating to buy MGM it froze all MGM-related licenses, and until the purchase is complete and all rights issues are dealt with then...

    [d20 Future] Mecha Power Cores

Startlingly similar to something I've been working on lately. Great minds think alike, eh?

I need a good riddle, and how do you handle initiative with large groups?

Initiative Cards For tracking initiative, I cannot reccommend The Game Mechanics' Initiative Cards enough. I had never used them before I started my current Shackled City campaign and they have made combat bookkeeping a thing of the past. It also makes stat tracking and HP tracking really...

    Resting in the dungeon

I tend to agree, especially if they are having a lot of trouble in the dungeon or are in danger of dying. I wrote an article that was published in Dungeon 117 about this very thing, which I use a lot in my games. I add a safe room off to one side, but not too safe -- if they begin to use it as a...

Exclusive Contest! ROB LIEFIELD draws your character!

*sniff* I like Rob Liefeld....and the new X-Force comics. Except for all the confusing time traveling and alternate realities. Wait, that's pretty much all X-Force ever was.

One Month Until Badge Pre-reg. Who's going?

Noble Class: Black Company vs. Noble's Handbook

See, this is why I'm going to let Rob do the talking from now on.

Why I Love D&D 3.5: Less Player Whining

That is exactly the reason I say "wait until a break." If it requires cross-referencing, it's too complex an issue to be solved quickly and, as such, must wait. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it gets to the point where the rules-lawyering slows down the game and breaks the mood.

Noble Class: Black Company vs. Noble's Handbook

No, it is not the same. It's similar in many respects, and you might get some use out of the Noble's Handbook if you're playing a Black Company game. I don't have BC yet, but Rob told me that he was inspired by my noble class (in the NHB) when writing BC's noble.

Why I Love D&D 3.5: Less Player Whining

Absolutely. It's one of the new Table Rules that I put into place formally at the outset of this campaign. They are as follows: Everyone is here to have fun. If something you are doing is impeding someone else's ability to have fun, then stop doing it. No laptops, non-D&D books, Magic cards...

Getting stains out of a battlemat

Am I going to be the only sick one that, upon reading the title of this thread, thought "Man, I love D&D too, but don't you think that's a little excessive?"

Why I Love D&D 3.5: Less Player Whining

Interesting stuff in here. My most recent campaign has opened my eyes to many things old mearls here has been talking about. I cut the group down to five players and warned everyone ahead of time that if they had a problem with a ruling I made that couldn't be solved with a single quotation from...

    Origins Early Bird

Sweet. I think Mearls and I are going to try and room together again if we both go, so hopefully we'll see you there.

    which one to go to

Horns. No question. Horns. I mean, Indy. It's the biggest, baddest gaming convention on the block. You can't beat it.

When PCs are the supporting cast

*dies* Hoody hoo! Perfect answer. Actually, you ever played any Star Wars RPG games and tried to follow events in the movies? That's kind of like being second banana to the "real" heroes. It goes something like this: General of the Rebellion: I've gathered you all here because I have a...

Round robin gaming group -- almost a reality!

!!!! OK, this is exactly what my group decided to try and do about two years ago. Each person got to be GM/DM for a month, and we played whatever game they decided to run. The only catch was that they had to bring pregenerated characters for everyone. We had some great games. I ran a Spycraft...

    What's wrong with metamagic?

Great stuff so far guys, keep it coming. A lot of this is as I suspected, and I see a lot of people using house rules, so this is exactly what I am looking for.
