GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Minor update, I have tweaked the Damage Threshold Rules so that the baseline is now Hit Dice x 0.3 rather than Hit Dice x 0.5. Behind the Curtain, the new Damage Threshold formula is: (Material* AC x 0.0273 rounded down to nearest tenth) x Hit Dice. *Not Monster AC So... An Adamantine Golem...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Fire away amigo - I appreciate the interest. Tricky to calculate at this point since the Boons chapter is still being worked on - plus the last few tiers go a 'tad' crazy. At Divine Rank 30 (ie. the Dungeon Master enters the fray) baseline you are likely hitting 100,000 dice before beginning...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

There are rules for creating Units of creatures in the book. All done on one page...with a few examples of the Template in the Epic Spell Section: "Orc Army", "Company of Devils", "Reign of the Iron Golems" (where it literally rains 10,000 Iron Golems then they fight for you). Well, off the...

    Corgi of the Apocalypse

I think maybe that's the beauty of creating the Adventures yourself vs. running official adventures (not that there are that many, if any, at Epic Level). Certainly knowing your Party is half the battle though. Monster Templates are really a godsend for epic campaigns.

    Corgi of the Apocalypse

Do you find it tough Challenging a Group of Seven PC's? I'm assuming no, since they were defeated by the Paragon, but interesting to hear your thoughts on the matter? I know that our group massively punches above their weight, but that could just be competent players vs. weak (official) monsters.

Good to have you back buddy. ;) Cool. What level are your current Players (their characters I mean).

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Fire away buddy. That's the current build (I've been toying with minor differences but that seems the best) Each time you gain a new Divine Rank you can change all your Divine Boons. Also if you gain a new Divine Rank and your Ability Scores improve you could choose stronger Divine Boons...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Well if you roll the mouse arrow over the illustration you will know they are Abominations called (aptly) Abominators. These are abominations of Fertility, the version in the book is Challenge Rating 28, I won't spoil what their main ability is (I don't think I have ever seen a monster with the...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Well there are multiple levels of death, higher dimensional underworlds, heavens and hells. When Mortals die their souls pass through the Underworld (sometimes getting trapped their if their conviction/faith is not that strong) on the way to their respective heaven or hell. When immortals die...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

...well in that case I might have to warn you about my God Rules: Epic Bestiary Micah, because from the very first monster (shown below) things get...abominable you could say.

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Hey there Arcanist Amigo, I have two different ideas for Hekatonkeres (one giant-based, one Abomination-based) and I am not far enough along with the Bestiary to know exactly which I will opt for. That said, I'll probably have a CR 36 version somewhere, but not sure if that will be the 'small'...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Thank you. There is always more you want to add, but I think keeping the stats (at least) in one column means things don't get ridiculous for the GM. Typically I have a few Actions and then the Combat Reactions can be rolled randomly. Keeps it all simple to run but still has a ton of variety...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Meant to add, as a Rule of Thumb, Godlings (divine ranks 1-2) will have +4 weapons and Immortals (divine ranks 3-6) will have +5. Weapon abilities are only worth one plus, but each has a minimum base plus. ie. vorpal weapon property needs a +3 or better base. So Nezha having a +3 Spear of...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Hello Just Passing Through amigo! :) I really enjoyed it - made for a great fight, especially Nezha's ability to move the PCs - always makes a fight more dynamic. That's what I'm here for. Obviously, everything will become a lot clearer when you have the book. Fire away. Yes although...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Well I might have my version of Gallifreyans (named something differently of course) in the book as a playable race. I'm still not sure I can fit them in though. I currently have 6 new Epic Races but I have rules for 6 Immortal Races as well (not yet added) who start as Demigods. One of these is...

You could be right, not sure they are lopsided but I think they maybe don't follow the line of the spear and that's what's bugging me. I'll take another look tomorrow.
