    Kickstarters by YouTube influencers

I'm impressed with Matt Colville and what he brought with Draw Steel. Before finding the game, I had not heard of him being a youtube influencer, but I can see after-the-fact that his youtube fame may have helped the game off the ground. I really do like the game.

    Draw Steel General Thread [+]

I mentioned this in your other thread, but you can get the adventure called "The Delian Tomb" which has starter rules (runs about 75 pages I think for the rules). It is not a super expensive way to test it out and see if you like it. Last time I check, the entire adventure was on sale for...

    Does anyone have Kickstarter regrets?

I'll have to echo DammitVictor and say I regret not getting the Draw Steel 'Crack the Sun' kickstarter while I had the chance (and the money). I don't can't think of any kickstarters I got into and then regretted. Of course, the Draw Steel one was Backerkit.

Help Me Pick A Convention Game To Run

Draw Steel might be doable if you use the Starter Rules that come with the adventure called "The Delian Tomb". The adventure is designed to learn as you play and try before you invest in the full release. But, with the full rules, I doubt you would have enough time to learn it as well as you...

I just got the Draw Steel books. I'm exited about this particular game.

    D&D General Maps on D&DBeyond

Wow, thanks for the info. They seem to be getting the backlog done faster than I expected.

D&D 5E (2014) Quests From The Infinite Staircase Coming July 2024

I think whatever complete setting they put in the DM's Guide might impact some of the choices. If Greyhawk, maybe we get Village of Homlett or Cult of the Reptile God. If Nentir Vale, maybe Keep on the Shadowfell. I don't know, maybe I'm reaching here.

D&D General Dungeons of Drakkenheim & Lairs of Etharis: WotC Adds Third Party Products To D&D Beyond

Thank you. I had looked and completely missed that. Good enough for me. I'll definitely buy this as well.

D&D General Dungeons of Drakkenheim & Lairs of Etharis: WotC Adds Third Party Products To D&D Beyond

I already picked up Lairs of Etharis and it looks great. Can anyone confirm whether or not Dungeons of Drakkenheim includes maps for DnDBeyond's map tool?

WotC WotC Removes Release Dates From Promo Images For 2024

I think it is as simple as: any company employing humans will experience errors. Someone messed up and that is all that happened.

D&D 5E (2014) Saving the Childrens Menu by Deborah Ann Woll, her first published adventure.

That recipe looks very tasty. I'll have to try it, but I'll need to shop the ingredients first.

Pathfinder 2E What does Pathfinder lack?

Third party support, especially adventures. I hope this changes with the new ORC license.

D&D 5E (2014) Upcoming D&D Tidbits: Phandelver, Book of Many Things, Venger, & More!

My players have already completed Lost Mines of Phandelver and moved on to other adventures. I'll have to figure out how to handle this, since I was looking forward to a new campaign. It doesn't seem like playing it again would work out for this group. How are you guys planning to deal with this?

Pathfinder 2E Paizo announced Tian Xia World Guide, Character Guide, and the Season of Ghosts adventure path.

Ah, thank you! This will come in handy. I didn't the books were using real Chinese language.

    D&D 5E (2024) 'One D&D' Takes 5E to New & Digital Places

Thanks for pointing that out; I'm feeling more at ease about it now. I don't see any incentive for Wotc to drop the agreements either.

Dragonlance Do you plan to buy Dragonlance?

I'm undecided right now. I'm not really interested in the war game aspect...just the adventure. And if the adventure relies too much on plucking off some draconian in the midst of a bigger battle, I'll pass. If the adventure outlines a compelling story where the PCs matter, then I'll pick it up.

    D&D 5E (2024) 'One D&D' Takes 5E to New & Digital Places

I'm trying to decide whether to slow down on my Fantasy Grounds purchases since WotC is bringing in a new VTT. It seems like it might still be a long way off though. Also, DMsguild has hooked up with Roll20, which adds another dimension to the dilemma. I'll still be able to play my current...

D&D General The Biggest Problem with Modern Adventures...

I have purchased many adventures on Dmsguild that are very good (and some others that aren't so good). It is a great resource and I'm glad it exists. I enjoy having adventures of all sizes to choose from. Typically, an ideal adventure length for me is something like Lost Mines of Phandelver...
