Getting close. It is at 176 pages, and I'm looking everything over again before I order the print test. I'm also debating with myself whether or not I should add something else to it.

Thank you! I didn't even think to comment here with an update. I did create a short video showing the book as it currently exists. My current thinking is that I'll add six more pages and call it complete.

Part of what I love about the transition to the table for drawing is layers. I can experiment without damaging earlier work that I'm happy with. And it makes me more willing to try bad ideas, since I know I can eliminate them from existence if they're too terrible.

No, sorry. I used to draw a lot, and even did some game art in the 90s, but I hadn't really drawn anything since then. The entire package just amazed me (I'm so old). I'm still impressed with how my brain forgets it is a tablet when I'm working.

What are you using? I picked up Procreate about a year ago, and it (with the Apple pencil on the iPad) is the greatest digital drawing tool I've ever used.

A friend and I were discussing exactly this earlier today. I keep wondering what I could do if I had the financial security to dedicate all year to a single book. I'd love to try, but the world appears to be opposed to that idea. (Somehow, I'm not independently wealthy.)
