It's actually not the exact same logo... it's a redraw of the original. The original was on grass; NuTSR's is on cobblestone. And the weapon's slightly different. I'm guessing they think it's derivative enough that it's OK to use. If so... yeah, good luck with that.

Not entirely sure when it happened, but NuTSR modified their main website to remove the challenged TSR branding.

In a new court filing, WotC calls NuTSR's claims bulls%$#... and this time they brought receipts. ETA: I misread the original length... it's 37 pages, and goes on to claim that NuTSR is "cybersquatting" through their websites and wants all the domains back. [LINK to the entire filing]

I'm not blaming Vincent on this... He's the author, not the publisher. If English is not first language, fine, but someone needed to fix that. The responsibility of editorial review and proper handling of the final product falls entirely on Wizard Tower Games and NuTSR. There's a spectacular...

That's funny, because the COVER is stock art from Fat Goblin Games... which, as far as I know, has licensing guidelines for accreditation.

NuTSR seems to think that Wonderfilled's Stephen Dinehart is behind this. Their reasoning? Because it's "comical" in nature.

So Chad and the Mario guy (who presumably is the one who doxxed Tenkar) are fighting each other on Twitter, and given that I'm reasonably sure they are actually Dinehart and LaNasa it's really kinda weird.

I'm pretty much the only person asking a legitimate gamer question (about Star Frontiers), but it has been nearly a month since I asked the question and have gotten no response. I have asked the question in multiple channels... My posts have been deleted sometimes, though.

This reminds me of when Quake III came out, some guy registered and parked every Quake domain up to like Quake 20, then did the same thing for every Unreal Tournament domain from 2001 to 2030.
