Brush primer does not stick to that green plastic very well at all.

D&D General Path of Feats: a Superior Design than Subclasses

Neat! Might consider the penalty to apply to "opposite" element only. How well do you feel these would work being used either to fully commit to, or dabble in?

D&D General Path of Feats: a Superior Design than Subclasses

"IF" you were to develop a subclass equivalent out of feats for (wait for it)... Elemental specialized wizards*, how would you do it? Obviously Elemental Adept is the 1st one. *chose this concept to explore a feat path (chain is too negatively constrictive sounding) because you could take the...

D&D General Path of Feats: a Superior Design than Subclasses

DPS point of view, you are mainly correct. RP/story view, maybe not? I think its based on the perspective of the group, and their dynamics. My recent group's cleric told the monk "have fun being the tank, I'm not getting up in there". :p

Fighting the Gray Tide (Miniature Painting)

Beautiful...maybe the horns and spikes on big one less yellow and more bone, like the little one? Still, good work.

Dungeons & Dragons releases Villainous Options playtest

And before you say Darth Vader, the quintessential evil villain...he's number one in his category, but IMO, I'm not sure the category is death knight.

Dungeons & Dragons releases Villainous Options playtest

Intense choice. I understand your example...but I'm just the type of nerd that would have a hard time choosing between the two. Both are exemplars and perfect examples of death knight/anti-paladin. Is there even a 3rd runner up thats even close?

D&D General Path of Feats: a Superior Design than Subclasses

By design i think. Attempt to offset some of the various tricks spellcasters have. Did it work? Not sure.

D&D General Path of Feats: a Superior Design than Subclasses

I understand your points, but the person I quoted was talking about homogeneity, so I was wondering about their viewpoint. You thoughts also make sense and help me see the span of influences from a different viewpoint.

I agree and feel that was a big missed opportunity.

D&D General Path of Feats: a Superior Design than Subclasses

An honest question to gain perspective.... How much does "homogeneity" matter for you? It seems to matter on the internet, cause many of us read the class guides with letter ranks and color codes, and over time as you say they "home in" on certain builds. While they were doing that our group...
