It strikes me as unlikely that humans would have such a predominant stronghold in worlds as full of diverse and powerful monsters as say the Realms for example. Any speculation as to what man's place in things would really be and which creatures would be running the show?

Something that frustrates me about 'fantasy worlds' is the lack of fantastical geography - you know forests of crystals, rivers of fire etc... I welcome any suggestions great or small for bizarre, unique and scientifically implausable scenes and vistas!

While I welcome the volume of player-created campaign worlds available on the internet - 99% of these seem to be to be a Tolkien/Realms re-mix. Campaign Worlds that promise "dragons, elves and dungeons" seem to be a little redundant. Any other thoughts? Are there truly original home-made...

I've just started a 1-1 mini campaign for a thief PC. I welcome any story hooks, event ideas etc to keep the character busy.

Has anyone had any experience of running a campaign in Tekumel. I'm just introducing this as a setting, and with so much to take on board I'd appreciate advice from any old hands.
