    Wilderlands of High Fantasy

The background, this was the first setting published for D&D predating Greyhawk. It was published in a number of parts with the City State of the Invincible Overlord and Wilderlands of High Fantasy coming first followed by a number of other areas such as the Fantastic Wilderlands Beyonde, City...

    RuneQuest 2

Runequest is set in the world of Glorantha, which was created by Greg Stafford originally and used as the setting for the White Bear Red Moon boardgame. This has several features which were unusual at the time it was published and it is still a distinctive setting with a different approach to...

    Reviews - couple of questions

    1. Can I put the old reviews that I did manually into the new reviews area (e.g. I create a new review using the old text that I had created)? This is because the old reviews are tricky to access. 2. Trying to remember what we can and can't review. Are non D&D /D20, etc RPG reviews acceptable...

    Lyceian Arcana review at RPG.net

I've now posted a review at RPG.net - pretty much the same as my review here, but always good for extra exposure. Now just find time and I'll think about reviewing Mythic Earth and putting the reviews up at RPG Now, etc.

    Back to the future

Well my brother is now going to start running a new campaign for me and another of our regular group using OD&D (1974). I'm looking forward to it, but I hope we'll use Greyhawk supplement as well as the three core books and probably the stuff from The Strategic Review. So it'll be back to roll...

    Dr Who Xmas special

Well I saw this last night which was the first appearance by the new Doctor, David Tennant and was xmas themed. It was mixed, not a bad episode, but it showed that trying to fit to xmas made things a bit weak, I'll avoid spoliers, but its set on earth post the Slithereen episodes.

    Interesting piece on IP

An interesting op-ed article about intellectual property at the Guardian Its interesting to see how quickly companies like Amazon are trying to patent things which at least IMHO should not be patentable, not least because of prior art and it does remind me of the story that some guy attempted...

Maybe this means D&D will get a good press at last

Does this mean that we'll finally get a decent press?

    Knock Knock

The oldest door in the UK? Knock gently - actually the story about being covered in human skin makes me think of some D&D scenarios.

The Corrected Favourite Dr Who poll

Now with multiple choice enabled, yippee! I've got every actor (I believe) except David Tennant on the grounds that one minute of airtime is not really enough to judge you on!.

Is it possible to change a poll

Is it possible to change a poll from single to multiple choice once posted. If so can someone do it to the Revised favourite Dr Who thread in the TV, Movies and Books forum. Thanks MM.
