How do characters in your d&d campaign spend their loot? There's the traditional: setting up a stronghold or mystical experimentation. But what other ideas have you seen in practice? Anything especially cool or offbeat?

So a sorcerer uses an elemental twist dagger daily to strip fire resistance from an ancient red dragon. Can the dragon turn off its Inferno aura? Does it then take damage from its own Inferno aura?

Just realized that I can identify only three of the locations on H3 Pyramid of Shadows poster map. I can identify the ice cave, the apex of light (or whatever that place is called) from the end, and the palace of bones. Anyone know what area the fourth represents? So... 4e clerics begin with two rituals. While wizards receive new rituals every couple of levels, I didn't notice any mention of clerics receiving new rituals when leveling. Did I miss something? Or is it just what it looks like - clerics have to beg, borrow, and steal to get their rituals?

Well... any ideas?

Just completed running this campaign last night, and I feel slightly sick... I have never had so many player character deaths in so few levels as I have running RHoD. Between levels 5-10, I had a total of ten PC deaths, including two near-party wipes (one survivor out of five players each time)...
