    Comment on Warlock?

I was playing around with building a warlock to introduce as an NPC in the game I run. I'd appreciate any comments or advice anyone here has. I use the Heroic Paths from Midnight, and although most NPCs don't get a path, this one did. If you're not familiar, the pertinent info on this one...

    D&D 3E/3.5 3E conversion question

I'm in the process of converting my 3e group to 4e. Mostly this has gone okay, but there are two abilities that I just don't know what to do with. First is for the dwarven Fighter/Barbarian. Due to the fact that I use Midnight's Heroic Paths (which tend to convert rather easily), and the fact...

D&D 4E Question on creating an encounter in 4E

After playing it a bit, I drank the kool-aid and bought the 4th ed Player's Manual, DMG, and Monster Manual with the intention of converting my existing campaign to 4E. Toward that end, I created two encounters to run- one combat, one skills. As I was creating enemies for the combat encounter...

    Sensory Feats

I'm playing a character in a Midnight campaign, and I'm trying to come up with sense-enhancing feats. I took Scent in his heroic path, and for feats took Improved Scent and Uncanny Scent from Savage Species. He's got really good Spot/Listen scores, but I'd like to flesh out the unnatural...

    6th level tank

I need help with a 6th level bruiser for an upcoming encounter. Should be something Fighter or Barbarian based. 36-point buy, and capable of dishing out serious damage to one or two targets. Not looking for a Death-Of-A-Thousand-Papercuts, but a high damage output tank. No warforged, nothing...

    Book of NineSwords

Since this has probably been done to death, simply posting a link would be great, but on the offchance... I'm not normally one to complain about rules/classes/spells/etc being "broken" (with the exception of Scorching Ray), but the Sublime Path classes in Bo9S seem so overpowering to me...

    Undead and Sneak Attack

I have a feeling I know the answer, but does anyone know of a way, preferably a Feat, that allows Sneak Attack damage against undead.

    Elven Thinblade

This has probably come up before. If so, I can't find it, though. A Thinblade is an Exotic Weapon, thus needing a Feat to use properly, but has the same threat range and negligibly more damage than a Rapier. What's the payoff for spending a feat? What am I missing?

Looking for a group in Indianapolis, IN

Just moved back to Indianapolis, looking for a D&D 3.5 campaign to join. Setting doesn't matter much to me- published or home grown.
