I've got a swordmage (mix-maxed) in my party who is always doing way more damage than either the rogue or the warlock, who are not min-maxed, but have really good stats. At level 8, with feats and a vampiric sword the SM is regularly doing 30+ damage each round. That seem really high to me, but...
