    What spells (if any) will banish/dismiss a nature's ally? (Compare dismissal and banishment against summon nature's ally I.) I'm assuming dismissal/banishment won't work. --Eric

    Blanking on Necromantic spell

    In 2e, I recall a necromantic spell that inflicted damage on the target (hit points? energy drain) and gave the caster a boost in temporary hit points. Does anyone know of a 3e equivalent (published by WoTC)? I'm thinking of a combined enervation/aid (self only) spell or something like that...
