I agree there is nothing wrong with the fighter. If you want versatility in a fighter, that is what other fighting classes are for. Paladin, ranger, knight, (hexblade well that one sucks but), duskblade, swashbuckler and thats just the icing try looking in a different book. Stop trying to...
