I know the ratings were strong enough for Supergirl to get a full first season. The rest of the episodes should start back up after the new year starts.
I haven't heard of the books either and I missed the first episode of The Expanse. I did watch the first half of the second episode but got bored with the ship crew pretty fast even though I liked the private investigator parts. I turned it over an watched the second part of Limitless.
I want to see that episode but it won't be on tv now that COX dropped KAKE, which is our local ABC channel yesterday morning. MeTV was also dropped so no more Superhero Saturday Nights with Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman either.
Yeah, there is a lot of singing and jokes. Both get annoying pretty quick and this coming from someone that love Spamalot. The only character I really liked was the Jester and he's not even a main character.
Don't forget that witches made a comeback with American Horror Story: Coven and Witches of East End. The latter reminded me of Charmed. Salem set during the witch trails is coming to WGN this year.
I caught a few episodes of The Tomorrow People many years ago and I greatly enjoyed it. I would like to see it revived ala Doctor Who but I have my doubts with the CW. It may be a hit or just a big failure. I'm just glad that they are straying away from vampires.
