thanks I guess I am torn by the answer. I can understand the reasoning, i guess. I don't think I've encountered this situation before. I can sympathize with the site, knowing that labor intensive activities often require financial assistance, but the price also seems a bit high, just for me...

despite my logging in, I can't search the boards for particular posts. i always get an error message saying I either need to log in (which I've already done) or I don't have permission to do that. how can this be? should any member be able to search the threads for keywords?
