Good point. The most successful supers game I've been in was a M&M pbp game here back in the mid-00's. Lots of drama and player conflict. Though one of my current games is Marvel Multiverse, and we're all enjoying putting out fires, trying to save the world from the big bad evil organization...

I watched Bob's video about it. Very interesting, but I'm afraid it will get lost in all the new fantasy games coming out right now.

It's made me less excited for CR, personally. One thing I noticed with the AoU game, my attention wasn't completely lost during combat, unlike the d&d APs. Ah well, at least they are continuing AoU.

Depends on what I'm playing. I have been pretty spoiled using Fantasy Grounds for a decade, so anything less than full featured feels incomplete, but if it's a more narrative-focused game, less tends to be more.

I, for one, was surprised that Critical Role has a Canadian store. Pleased, but surprised.

I'm not playing anytime soon, but by the time I do, the Fantasy Grounds integration should be up and out for a while, so my plan is to get the players to make their PCs on Demiplane, because it's so easy - I made one and could figure out what I was doing before I even looked at the rules - and...

Earlier in the year, when I was thinking about starting a Marvel Multiverse game, I looked into M&M 3e as another option, as I used to play 1e back in the day. Watching an example fight on YT made me drop that thought quickly. It's funny how much my gaming tastes have changed the past 20 years...

It might be worth talking about this in the session zero, or perhaps even before that. Just bring up your concerns and how the GM intends to potentially deal with these problems.
