I wasn’t sure if I’d get these books but all these talk of the Dalelands has brought back many fond memories of my first campaign using the Old Grey Box. Plus the alt covers look cool. I’m in!

There was a pull out adventure in Imagine called Black Roses based on the Seven Samurai/Magnificent Seven which I ran at least twice - great fun!

I’d love to see the adventures compiled at some point. I know lots of American D&D fans were frustrated that the magazine was UK/EU only. I also really enjoyed putting each issue into the binders :)

Yeah, they sneaked those in late on. Also, they used the term Species from the start and dropped half-elves and half-orcs in favour of orcs.

Imagine my surprise when I went to Durham University in 1985 to find that the Oliver Dickinson teaching me about Greek Art was the same bloke who wrote the Griselda stories in White Dwarf!

I had ISS Ship Files! I think I had one or two Paranoia Press Traveller supplements too.

We played Killer without having ever seen the rules, shooting each other with water pistols and throwing water-filled balloon grenades. Fun times!

You can definitely do Caverns in less. My group seem to faff around quite a bit!

Quick update on my campaign – after spending seven sessions on Buried in the Bahamas, we spent another eight on Curse of Skeleton Point, three on Battle of Dead Man's Cove (with Captain Davies from Skeleton Point leading the raid, and the PCs on their own ship), and are two sessions into Cavern...
