Like any multiclass, you figure the BAB for each class and add. The monk gets full BAB when using Flurry, so that's 5. The fighter gets full BAB, so that's 10. = 15. The quote you pulled from the class is only referring to the monk BAB. It doesn't preclude adding the BAB from other classes...
