Nominate your MOST ANTICIPATED RPG of 2024

There are several interesting titles out there, but for me is Fifth Season by Green Ronin, based on the books of Jemisin.

N.K. Jemisin's The Fifth Season RPG: An Interview with Chris Pramas (Green Ronin Publishing)

I read and loved the books. I am really glad that is supervised by Jemisin. Can't wait to make my first comm!

It is time to forgive WOTC and get back onboard.

"Forgive"??? Not for me. I can not forgive a corporate who brought chaos in the ttrpg just to make more money while at the same time would destroy many smaller companies in order to "crush" competion. Their intentions are still there. This kind of thinking is hard-coded in companies like Hasbro...

Keith Baker asks about walking away from Eberron.

Eberron is not my favorite setting and Keith Baker is not my favorite rpg creator. I have played Eberron and enjoyed but I would never run a session in his world. However, I fully respect his work and his attitude. Having said that, if he tries something new, like the project he mentions, I...

D&D (2024) RPG Evolution: The Fox in the Henhouse

Well, sometimes you have to make a comment just to congratulate the reporter. Really enlightening article that explains a lot of what is happening the last months!

Over 1,500 Publishers Support Paizo's Upcoming Open RPG Creator's License

I disagree. I think, for the first time the creators will have (almost) every ruleset out there through SRDs. I expect new wave of books which will combine a multitude of rules from various RPG companies, under one license.

Free League Develops Two New Open Game Licenses

It is interesting that they had pulled down their old OGL couple weeks before the whole uproar got started. Coincidence? They were one of the companies Hasbro had approached? They had inside info from another company (ex they have great relationship with Modiphius)?

OGL and ORC; A Marriage made in Heaven?

If ORC acts as an umbrella for different game systems that means that as a creator you can use mechanics and rules from every system you want? For example could you use a mechanic that you found in Paizo's SRD and a mechanic from Chaosium's SRD and put these in your product?

Potential Positive Outcomes of the OGL Fiasco (+)

Why? I am really curious to hear your thoughts.

Potential Positive Outcomes of the OGL Fiasco (+)

We see hundreds if not thousands gamers (mostly gamemasters and many creators) looking right now a multitude of game systems and rpg companies for their new games. I am one of them and I feel both excited and liberated!

Free League Develops Two New Open Game Licenses

Can they do both? Having their own and participating with ORC?

It seems Free League develops to new OGLs.

Paizo Announces New Irrevocable Open RPG License To Replace the OGL

But why? I have a different approach on this. I see ORC a wanna be big umbrella that will shelter many SRDs and many systems. We may have a d100 from Basic Roleplaying of Chaosium, a d20 based system on Paizo's Pathfinder and so on. I think its purpose will based in diversity and in a multitude...

Critical Role Could Critical Role launch their own RPG?

I am sure WotC and CR have already talked about their (possible) cooperation in one or another way. CR is probably the biggest/popular player out there and I think it would be crucial for WotC to have them as allies in the new OGL.
