New D&D Facebook Game Live Today!

Perhaps I am too much of a newb to Facebook games, but why is there an 8-minute wait between encounters?

    Any erratta on the Eidolon?

Yes, I think you are missing the fact that the eidolon can't use it's powerful hallowed stance AND attack in the same round. It has to choose between moving and attacking or going into the stance each round, since entering the stance is a standard action. Basically, while the eidolon stands...

    Fun While Prone

The enemies affected by "Come and Get It" must "shift 2" and end adjacent to the fighter, but prone creatures cannot shift (PHB errata), so they are not affected by the power.

Can a PC choose to fail (or not roll) a save !?

In the case where forced movement forces a target into a hazard, the target can make an immediate saving throw and fall prone next to the hazard instead of going into it. What if the target would rather go into the hazard than fall prone? Say it's a tiefling being pushed into a firepit when...

    The trouble with 365_Bazaar

Re: Fortified armor At epic levels, it basically grants immunity to fear effects that allow a saving throw, once per day. I don't think it's terribly overpowered...?

    The trouble with 365_Bazaar

Shouldn't the Dragonclaw Armor daily power be an immediate reaction instead of immediate interrupt? Power (Daily): Immediate Interrupt. Use this power when another creature grabs you. You immediately use the escape action with a +5 bonus to escape the grab and deal 5 damage to the creature that...

Adjusting 4 PCs for WotC adentures

I would like to echo the suggestion to scale the encounters instead of the PCs. However, if you are determined to do it.... A party of four is missing a couple of things as compared to a party of five: One more PC for the monsters to wail on The actions that one more PC would take You...

Official word on Dragonshield tactics and movement interrupts in general

It's not an opportunity attack though, it's a readied action. You can use a standard action to ready any type of action (standard, move, or minor) and hence use any power you like. I agree that by the RAW the enemy should be able to finish his charge if he has the movement left, but the RAW...

Official word on Dragonshield tactics and movement interrupts in general

What if the defender, who has readied an action, pushes the charging enemy one square (e.g., with Tide of Iron) when it moves adjacent? Can the enemy complete the charge if it has enough movement left?

Compiled list of errors in KotS pre-gen characters?

Paladin's Fort, Ref, and Will defenses should all be one point higher. Warlord should have Ref 15, not 14.

Grrr... can't find Keep on the Shadowfell!

I noticed that too...quite bizarre. I think somebody screwed up there.

    D&D 3E/3.5 4E Epic Destinies for 3.5

In before the move! They've done plenty of original art for the previous 3.5 articles in Dungeon and Dragon, so I wouldn't read anything into that.

Powers, Feats, Abilities by level: My Best Guess

Getting new dailies back-to-back at 19th and 20th level: teh awesome. Getting nothing at 30th level: boo-urns! The paragon tier looks pretty stacked.

    Dodging arrows

I've only seen this with two monsters: the immolith and kobold slinger. Have you seen any others with Ref higher than AC? If it's only these two, I think chances are pretty high that they're just stat block errors. WotC has been known to make one or two of those. ;)

    D&D 4E No d100 in 4e?

I suppose one can hold out hope that the rules for rituals and/or crafting use percentile dice....

    D&D 4E No d100 in 4e?

The granularity arguments are perfectly valid, of course, but I liked the 3e philosophy with regard to using the d100: when a roll never uses a modifier and the probabilities of the outcomes are always the same, use the percentile. That way you know you shouldn't be adding (or subtracting)...

    D&D 4E No d100 in 4e?

The d12 seems like it will see more use in 4e than 3e. I'm under the impression it will be used quite a bit for weapon damage rolls, especially weapons that do extra damage on a crit -- this extra damage seems to be in the form of +d12's. Which makes the d100 look even more like the forgotten...
