    Does this rule actually exist?

It sounds like a house rule to me. I have not read it in any of the core books.

    Character Breeding

It makes you wonder... how would a surface elf/drow breed work? Ignore the fact that the parents would rather kill each other than get it on to make the offspring. What would a child of that mix be like? :p

    D&D 3E/3.5 Is there a Parry in 3.5?

Hehe, I'd have to respectfully disagree there, NWN is great if only for its great toolset. The original campaign left something (ok, ok, a lot of things) to be desired, but the subsequent expansions were well done, IMO. I'll give you ToEE though, that was a peice of trash :( Even after they...

What is your favorite race to play as?

I'd have to say either the warforged or changeling from Eberron. So many possibilities for either race, it's great! :)

D&D 3E/3.5 Which race "got the shaft" in 3.5

Nope. The Dex vs Con for casters argument has been brought up a lot on different boards. Con almost invariably wins. Especially in a mage duel where Dex means next to nothing (well, maybe against Evokers). Higher hit points means a heck of a lot, not to mention a higher Concentration skill...

D&D 3E/3.5 Which race "got the shaft" in 3.5

Half-elves and half-orcs have had the shaft since 3.0. Nothing's changed that in 3.5 Humans are still good, in fact I see them as the most played race ever. I would take the extra feat and skill points over pretty much anything else, anyday. The more levels you gain the less important the...

    Anyone else annoyed by psionics?

That's the reason a lot of people give, and personally I don't get it. Mental powers aren't appropriate for a fantasy setting? *scratches head* I guess these are the people that hate monks and Ki as well... But since psionics is built into and supported by Eberron, why not? It fits the setting...

    drowning a Fire elemental

How would stuff on the plane of fire burn without oxygen? Or is it just magically burning all the time? Also, isn't there an "atmosphere" to the plane of earth?

    Anyone else annoyed by psionics?

Renbot: psionics are fine. If its not your cuppa tea, whatever. Annoying? Maybe to you, but not to a lot of other people. And from what I read your player is playing a Seer. If he was really such a powergamer that you claim, he'd be playing a Kineticist or Wilder ;).

Oh no! The pirates have taken over!

Yarr, I be seein clear as a mud puddle now. Now I be off to find some landlubbers to push off a plank. Hardy-har-har!

What's going on? Other than being silly? :P

    D&D 3E/3.5 3.0 Ranger vs 3.5 Ranger

You can make a Ride check against the attacker's attack roll to negate a hit on your mount. With a good Dex and maxed out Ride skill, I have a hard time believing anyone would be able to hit your mount effectively. Area spells, on the other hand, will ruin an animal companion mount's day. But...

    Sneak Attacking Undead

I'm sorry, but I complete miss your point. If you have one? Constructs don't have an anatomy, so rogues can't find spots to attack and inflict more pain.

    Power points for non-psionic pcs?

There is also a new material in the XPH called deep crystal, which allows you to channel (as a free action) 2 power points into a weapon to add 2d6 damage to your next attack.

    Isn't that darklone's motto? :p

    Tougher than adamantine

Maybe we are talking about different diamonds. From Indus Global, "About Diamonds", emphasis mine: Also, from an online encyclopedia, again emphasis mine:

    Tougher than adamantine

I seriously, seriously hope you're joking. Are we talking about the same material of diamond? Maybe you have a different definition of fairly easily than I do, cause unless you're talking about cubic zirconium, diamond DOES NOT shatter easily at all. And reverting to a normal carbon structure...

    Tougher than adamantine

If they made porcelain doors, I'd use one instead of a wooden door. I'd also have a diamond door, as well. I don't think the availability of a material really applies to this discussion does it? I mean it could be entirely possible for a group of dwarves to fashion a bunch of diamonds, fuse them...

    Tougher than adamantine

That sounds incredibly like titanium... Anyways, I would think diamond would be harder than anything else out there, even unobtanium or whatever that's called ;). Though getting a door made of diamond would be pretty damn hard... lol
