Have you tried Meetup.com? I found my current group through that site 11 years ago and we've been gaming together ever since. I've also seen groups play on a regular basis when taking the kids to the library, but this was in South San Francisco.

This was basically my group. A ton of us were in high school playing MtG, we started book 2 of Night Below for AD&D, and I had finally gotten my hands on The DarkStryder Campaign for Star Wars by the time Alternity came out.

If they do an update to the Champions of Mystara: Heroes of the Princess Ark boxed set, which was basically airship articles reprinted from Dragon magazine, I would gladly buy this. No other D&D setting has ever presented me with an airship shaped like a twenty-sided die.

The Crypt of Lyzandred the Mad. This was a classic for my group when we were introduced to the setting this late into 2e.

I love this. I ended up going through the Monster Manual years ago and came up with the reason why my dwarven cleric was 114 years old, but starting at level 1 in a new campaign: he USED to be high-level, before a shadow dragon flew in and level-drained him back to 1st level while slaughtering...

What's funny is that I forgot I ended up resorting to this years ago when I was running Rise of the Runelords and it worked, schedule-wise with the group split up and reunited at the end of the modules.
