I've heard about this Deceptive Attack, it works fine for "humanoids" fight.. but you're saying the Charging Rhinocerous would have to faint his charge? What about the dragon? Sorry, now it's even worse. You need an optional rule to diffrentiate a Godzilla stomp from an axe swing? A 30' wide...

It's not a misconception, it really works that way. It is a flaw of the system. The defense is independent from the attack. How good you are at dodging a blow takes no consideration of what the "blow" was. Again, the rest of the system is fine, although I don't like "roll under your own skill"...
