    Tangent Games seeks artists.

well it still doesnt seem fair to not offer everyone involved a share of the profits. I mean, its not like you are paying them from your pocket, so its really no skin off your back if you give them a cut. get one artist to do the art for the book, and offer them a decent rate, like 30% cover...

How I fell in and out of love with Pick and Mix in 20 minutes

id love to see some sweet puzzles done up as these pick and mix things. Monsters are easy to make up, so are magic items. but puzzles in an RPG are kind of tricky. And i dont mean traps, although they might be part of the puzzle(like in the Last Crusade). if the pick and mix thing...

i agree with gareth, some more thought could definitely be used on the logo. Since it defines and brands your company, it should look as professional as possible. Mike

Hey Adamantine Angel, Your homebrew sounds cool, and since i just read the book, it sounds like precisely what you need. Actually your homebrew sounds alot like that old movie Red Dawn, which is pretty much one of the best "train then get back at the bad guys" movies of all time. Just like...

    art prices

depending on the size and complexity of the back cover image, it could be anywhere from 100 to 300 dollars. If the cover is a wraparound ala D&D then that would be about 500 dollars. So all told that would be $1100 U.S. If you wish to contact me, my email is here: sirfrancisdrake at gmail.com...

    Evolution/Revolution of industry

I agree that creativity is much needed, if not most important for growth of just about anything. I wonder if OGL was really a great revolution for the industry, since people don't have to worry about coming up with their own worlds, since they can use a pre-existing one. Mike
