Riddles, why did it have to be riddles.

Just wondering what villain race GMs are throwing at their players these days. Is it the classics of humans, orcs and goblins or something else? For me it is still Skaven (Rat people for those that may not know that name) but do have a fondness for goblins. What is yours?

What IF. What if everything, for every action there is a reaction. When the players do something think of something to follow it up on and keep records, just do not drop it build off the action. Just be prepared for a lot of notes. Example of this, players keep using fireballs in buildings...

I say go online and try different systems. Find one you like by testing, touching and feeling it. Any system we offer up will be because we are fans but that does not mean you will be.

Due you use them? Does your party have a banner, a stamp, an icon they are known by. Do your bad guys? Does your thief leave behind a silk glove? Your assassin place pennies over the eyes? Does your wizard bear a dark mark? There are many reasons to have them, paperwork, IDs, business, you...

That races in fantasy are not just humans with bumpy heads and different skin colors. That they have their own traits and limitations that should be reflective in the game and not mixed with other races. That learning and teaching should be a STAT and that the number limits your advancement...

Need to remember that you do not need to place everything in a genre, sometimes just placing material under fiction is all that is required. Thinking The Handmaid's Tale is that way, yes you could place it in another genre but is there a need.

Also, a spot in my heart for Paranoia! Guess it Genre could be sci-fi/comedy or cyberpunk/comedy or just mix/comedy

Fantasy/Horror - grim, darkish, cults, old gods, monsters in the dark, Cthulhu stuff. Systems would be Zweihander, Warhammer, Witcher and such.
