What difference does it make? If a Zombie Rotter was supposed to be level 1, the PCs are getting a whole 6xp extra per rotter. Woot!

My experience is that a typical fight is 3-6 rounds, and takes a bit less than a hour. That applies to encounters of level+3 as well. It might change at higher level, but so far I'm pretty happy with the handling time.

More to the point Belt of Vigor is a level 2 item, Belt of Mountain Endurance is level 18. One should expect it to be better.

Quick draw? I thought Quick draw was an extremely poor choice of feat. Snatching out a weapon is only a minor action anyway so you can draw, move & attack in any case.

I agree with the OP partially, and partially not. I find it very strange. 4th is, in my view, 80% very well organised, edited and laid out but 20% of it (including large sections such as Skill Challenges) seem rushed. It's most odd.

I'm not bothered by the GSL cutting out M&M/True20 style products, or the lack of a 3.x style SRD and the comsenurate loss of PocketPHB style products. Nor do I hold the whole Open Gaming gig dear. I am disapointed that the GSL is apparently worst for exactly the kind of module it's apparently...

The point is to keep armour as a effective choice throughout all 30 levels.

I think we'll see a 4th edition revised but it will be completely compatible with 4th + errata, clarifications and so forth. It might add a couple of new races/classes. There won't be a 4.5 in the vein of 3.5. 5th will come around 2013-2015.

When I'm playing 3/4th D&D I use minatures. When I'm playing any other RPG, I don't. D&D with minatures is an excellent game; D&D without is a shoddy game surpassed by many other RPGs.

You need all the feats to get the multiclass paragon path(s), but not the class specific ones. Personally, I think Warrior of the Wild should allow Ranger paragon paths - and I will so rule in games I run.

I chose option A: "love" 4e and will not go back to 3.x, but it's rather an overstatement. I think 4e is better than 3e, I hope to play more of it, but I would play 3.x (and 2.x, 1.0, BECMI, etc.) again if someone had an interesting idea/campaign ready to go.
