Do You Prefer a Humanocentric RPG Setting?

Shadowrun was like that. I vote yes, because most games are exactly that. I have a buddy who runs a world dominated by badass elves, who are aloof and quick to put the players in their place but dont stop the BBEG. You will say, "Yeah we just killed the Vampire lord." And the DM will remind...

    Gestalt Artificer and ?

This is about the best advice I have seen in this. Paladin kind of would stretch your character quite thin statwise, though. I would like to question why someone who thinks Psionics is broken doesn't consider Gestalt the same way.

Yeah, some of the rules you described did seem a bit foreign to me. In Dark conspiracy you could have good skills and stats at the beginning and the older you were the better you got. I found it silly that I would be playing my base character and all of his associates were in their 40s. i...

[Game a Day 15] Twilight 2000, First Edition

Never played T2K but we used the rules in it to supplement out Dark Consperacy games. The game was vaguelly like the Twilight Nightmares that was mentioned above but set in a civilian context. We really enjoyed that game.

Funniest Thing that's happened to you

We were all about 8th to 9th level and had just made our way out of hell. Our DM described the city we were in as a large ring with all the buildings on the inside. We as players new where we were but decided to play our characters the oblivious way you should when they are all primes. So...
