Sounds like Pathfinder may be for you. These are basic design elements of 4e you are talking about. In other words, changing those elements will make it necessary to change a LOT. Maybe staying away from 4e is the best idea... (I'm a BIG 4e supporter, FWIW)

I like these. They won't fit my campaign, but I like them. Keep it up, I'll wantonly steal any which do fit with my low-tech campaign.

One mistake found on quick test... Minions are worth 1/4 exp not 1/5. i.e. 1st level minion = 25 exp not 20... Otherwise very nice. Also, how about a version the user can modify to input his own creations into? Would be much appreciated.

With wings this big beating this fast, there begs to be a damaging push/prone aura around this critter, for lesser creatures anyway. It IS 30th level after all. I think it isn't going to break anything and it just adds flavor which is buzzing (sorry) to be there.
