Have we looked at the same spellcasting PrC's? Either they lose too many levels of spellcasting or are entirely too powerful. The balanced full spellcaster PrC is few and far between.

No, you can't, 6th level is earliest because of ranks in skills. The best progression is probably human Swa3/Barb1/Ftr1/DervX. This is because the +10ft. speed from barb is very useful. You'll want to max as much as you can your ranks in Perform Dance.

Except that after 3rd level spells, most of the stuff from necromancy unless you're specifically going the zombie master route can be through similar effect duplicated by the other schools. You lose out on a few nifty things, but you lose out on more nifty stuff from enchant and illusion.
