    I think burying the lede is ok as long as the GM lets the players then act as if their character had absorbed the information in a logical order. The real sin is box text telling players what the characters feel, or even worse, do.

    Great Roleplaying The LotR has absolutely no examples of scared hobbits stepping up. Im sure there were no earlier opportunities to play scared with lower stakes. And then sacrificing someone else's character on the altar of your “Roleplaying”! [chef’s kiss]

    Layout, Schmlayout. Above all make the product interesting to read to sell me on playing it. Then give me the raw text so I can mess with it to my hearts content. And any player facing material should be in individual files.
