    Not much, but: The relativelly fast combat; Vancian magic; the implied don't-pull-punches attitude; experience coming mostly from gold; and the non-customizable classes.

    It doesn't make a difference; with exponential XP tables, that difference is essentially irrelevant, they'll be all advancing at the same speed.
