Something I've never understood (or maybe I've missed a rule in the Corebooks) is with Two Weapon Fighting. I'm making a ranger that has a dagger and a longsword. Would he take minuses for having weapons with a drastic size difference?

For the sake of running a campaign that has an occasional multi-dimensional door and a cameo of William Shatner or Darth Vader and the such, would the language "Common" be on the same playing level as our English? I assume it is...but I don't think it is ever clearly stated.

I have a Dragon Shaman who just got his acid breath attack at 4th level, since his totem dragon is a black dragon. I was wondering, since he isn't immune to acid, if he takes damage when he makes an acid breath attack. I guess I'm just not sure if the acid comes up the throat or if it just kind...

We don't use actual miniatures. We use like pieces from monopoly, and for the bigger monsters, we use those golden coins. (That's the one I DM) In another group I'm in, we use the colored pieces from Risk as PC's, gray ones as NPC's, and black ones as enemies. I'm the red horse. Haha.

I had a dungeon set up for about 5-6 level 1 PC's. However, only 3 can make it to my game. I DO have, however, a level four Servant of Pelor to help them out, in case of emergencies. Basically, they are going up against about 12 human skeletons, 2 bugbear zombies, 5 human zombies, 2 ghasts...

I just created a level 20 Kender Bard...all twenty levels in Bard. He isn't going to be in the campaign for quite a while, but I was bored and decided to create him. And yes, all my characters are low level, and so are the NPC's.

So what does it mean when it says "2D4 HD monsters"? is it total Hit Die, or current?
