    TRAILBLAZER - PDF Release - Discussion/Questions/Errata

On the subject of AoOs... I normally use a simplified version of them. Move actions, excluding movement, do not provoke AoOs. Standard actions, excluding attacks/combat maneuvers, provoke AoOs. Full round actions, excluding attacks/withdrawing, provoke AoOs. For movement, I'm thinking about...

    TRAILBLAZER - PDF Release - Discussion/Questions/Errata

Racial hitdie and BMB Two rules of building a spellcaster. Never multiclass, and never take a LA race, especially one with racial hitdie. Trailblazer fixes the first outright. It has potential to help the second, if we give racial hitdie a BMB. We can either give all racial hitdie the same...

    TRAILBLAZER - PDF Release - Discussion/Questions/Errata

Typos. Typo for ya, Wulf. Page 30, barbarian class features, Evasion. Here are the last two sentences: A helpless barbarian not gain the benefit of evasion. At 9th level the monk gains improved evasion.

    Trailblazer now available!

That makes sense. Thanks Wulf! And a design box there would probably help a little bit. Brainstorming out loud: One thing I might have to try to experiment with will be a super-elite. Limit one per encounter. I was thinking multiply hp by 1 per two characters, and 1 action point per per two...

    Trailblazer now available!

Re: Trailblazer The list of uses for action points. Makes sense, and provides a nice boost where needed. For both PCs and elites/solos. This will be used for Pathfinder and core games. I'm unsure about IH games, simply because it's fixing a subsystem that really doesn't exist. The unified...

    Trailblazer now available!

Re: Trailblazer Looks very good. I just finished through my first readthrough. The modularity was a very smart decision. For core 3.x, it's all usable. I think I'll be able to use about 80% of Trailblazer for any Pathfinder games I run. For my favorite gaming variant, IH, about 30-40%.

    WotBS WotBS meets IH

Re: IH and WOBTS Yes, the 3.x version. Thanks to those who replied! While I don't particularly want my pcs using magic items(at least without nasty side effects), I don't mind the rest. The heavy magic isn't quite what I was looking for, but I can reskin and reflavor a lot of it. The...

    WotBS WotBS meets IH

Ok, I had a long post typed out, but the boards here ate it. Basically, I am considering picking up War of the Burning Sky, but my preferred system is Iron Heroes, which contains little magic, and no safe magic. Reading through the campaign guides, magic seems to be an integral part of the...
