Did anyone else notice that the starting hp is 12 + constitution SCORE, not modifier, like it says for the healing surges. So depending on your constitution score, you may get more hp from that than from your class, lol. So it looks like you do start with a lot of hp.

I use action points in my campaign right now. It helps get rid of a lot of those "great idea but sucky roll" situations, and helps prevent PC death.
