So, the Porphyra Campaign setting is PF1 and Porphyra the Rpg is PF2? Sorry, I'm new to the whole PF product line.

How do you tell which is the latest DMG, PHB, and MM print run? I think we're in the 6th printing now, but how do you tell? Thanks in advance

It's to avoid the 'ding' issue, wherein suddenly, everyone is better at attacking, skills, tougher (hit points) etc. I want a more gradual progression.

Thank you for that Empirate I agree, it seems the nature of rpgs in general will always end up going down this route, especially fantasy rpgs. Perhaps armour that soaks damage would be more useful at mid/high levels. That way armour per se, is still important. Or at least not as redundant
