So i've heard the exact opposite... that scorching burst and ray of frost were good for the fact that one was an AOE at will and the other gave a status effect (although I was only taking from PHB and AP again... I'll look into the Heros of the Fallen Lands at-wills) & uhh... errata'd?

Ah I see. I did not realize that feyleather and starleather have analgous items in the cloth armor section...

The reason why I thought I should use the leather is that I could eventually use some sort of magic leather armor - if I'm not mistaken, unarmored agility doesn't scale with you.
