Rouges can do wonders with a spiked chain. Elves, Eladrin, and Drow all make good rouges. Also the Scar Enforcer was a prestige class from 3.5 that was meant for Half-Elf rouges (And has a picture of one using a spiked chain!). Just Saying.

Sentential Druid from HotFK would probably be best here. Most of their attack powers are melee attacks from them or their Animal Companion, But the utilities would need some fixing up.
