I don't see it being unbalanced. As long as your DM see's it the same way., Have fun! I tend to rule whatever makes the game fun for the player(to a point of course). Not all DM's do that.

They certainly do look good.

At 5th level ranger you can have your panther attack, and you can make an attack with a weapon in one round. But I would say no on bonus action for your companion even if it triggers. But in my game as a DM I might rule as long as it uses up your bonus action. But then that is up to your DM.

Saves are listed under Proficiencies. You only get proficiencies from the 2nd class+ listed in the multiclassing proficiencies chart located on page 164 PHB.

I don't know if I am just missing it, but it seems there is no damage change on being a small character. That seems strange. Now if you use the enlarge/reduce spell to change from medium to small size you have to reduce the damage your weapon inflicts. Does this seem unusual? Why would it not...
