You both, as the biggest advocates for A5e/LevelUp on ENWorld, somehow passed over the mentions of publishing companies no longer being dependent on WotC's generosity; that thanks the Commons (a legally tested system) publishers can continue putting out materials. Publishers matter. New material...

Even more so, thanks to the Commons, D&D isn't really dependent on WotC. My table can play it from now until we don't, no matter what WotC does. Using the full ecosystem if Hasbro/WotC go under or get bought by a vile party I will still get fresh content from publishers who have robust support...

Another thing that would be useful in this kind of product List of characters in genre fiction/gaming/etc that served as inspirations. Rather than Appendix N listing the works, the focus of a character book should be on characters.
