Nice Mark, with the family business and the longevity snd surviving the mid 90s comic store implosion…lost my FLGS in that mess and have to drive 40 miles to a great store…which is where I got the special edition covers yesterday.

I was going to just stick with the dndbeyond digital pack and add ons that comes with it but after seeing the FLGS special covers today, I picked up both books!

I probably overlooked it on the site but is there a release or preorder date?

If I knew about this issue, my early teen self would enjoy the ring info for a D&D campaign since god stats and such were fun to read back then for me.

As a long time comic reader and this question spiraling from that and into the current discussion, which props to the people active in this thread keeping things civil and respectful, what do we think the discourse would be in 15-20 years if Marvel decided to recast or do a new origin story for...

I might be off in what is meant by the very last sentence as it related to D&D and creativity of Wotc/hasbro as a corp but player feedback drove design choices for the 5e and 5.5 version…so I don’t see a corp killing creativity if the high selling game was based on the players wants in game...

I’m going to re-listen to the various Dragonlance novels I have on Audible, which is about 20 of them..maybe we’ll know more about the project by the time I’m done! Edit - Paul Boehmer, narrator of the chronicles and some Strahd Ravenloft novels does a fantastic job on them.

Looking at Rob’s go fund me page, the most recent person that donated was Christopher Perkins….what a nice human being besides being a fun DM and D&D steward for almost 30 years.

Looking at the Wizkids store, they do have an unpainted version for 54.99. Painted for 69.99 so only 15 more for painted seems odd, same with the other even larger minis painted and unpainted prices are closer that I would have thought.

Which then gives me more evidence to put those people who keep saying the doom part or bad sales data on ignore so it’s a win for me, tired of that ongoing discussion for the last year.

Great job on the paint! I got the painted one but yours looks fantastic. I may pick this one up as the price point is decent for the size in my mind.

Not sure if the OP is serious or a 3am post in the midst of a smoky haze while watching pine apple express movie, but the first 4 pages of comments I’ve read have been amusing.
